3. The personal information we collect

We collect personal information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the website.

Depending on how you choose to engage with the website, this may include:

  • When you contact us through a contact form or by email: your name, email address, organisation, role, and the content of your message.

  • When you register for the members area or create an account: your name, email address, organisation, role, and account-related information. Account credentials are handled through the website platform or account-management service, and passwords are not visible to us in plain text.

  • When you subscribe to updates, a newsletter, or our publications: your name and email address.

  • When you download a resource such as a white paper, guide, or other gated resource: the registration details above, together with a record of the resource accessed or downloaded.

  • When you request or book a conversation or consultation: your name, contact details, organisation, and any information you choose to share about your context or needs.

You are not obliged to provide this information. However, if you do not provide the information requested, we may be unable to respond to you, give you access to the members area, provide the resource, or arrange the conversation you have requested.

When you visit the website, we (and the third-party services we use) may automatically collect:

Opting out of marketing does not affect communications that are necessary to manage your account or to respond to a specific request you have made.

  • Request correction or deletion of personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, excessive, or unlawfully obtained;

  • Object to the processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds;

  • Withdraw consent where we rely on your consent (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal);

  • Object to direct marketing and unsubscribe at any time;

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (see section 15).


To exercise any of these rights, contact our Information Officer using the details in section 15. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.


12. Children's privacy

The website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources (for example, our publication, professional networking profiles, or referenced sources).
